SWB Turbines expands into new modern facility

Due
to increases in our research and development, along with the sale of
our products, our continuing growth has prompted us to move into a
larger facility. The new building has more than double the
square footage as compared to our previous location. This
allows us the space necessary to house our new machinery, which
includes: 2 additional turning centers, 1 additional machining
center, and an ultra-precision surface grinder. In addition,
our shop is divided into two areas: machining/metalworking and our
UAV fabrication/assembly area. Also, we have built a new turbine
engine test cell, complete with full instrumentation and a new 60
channel Hewlett Packard digital data acquisition system.
Besides the aforementioned benefits of our new facility, we have a
new turbine assembly area complete with the latest Heins precision
dynamic balancing system, a new conference room, new engineering
department, and several other assorted offices and part storage
rooms. Below are pictures of our new facility.

Shown above is our new turbine engine test cell complete with full instrumentation and new Hewlett Packard 60 channel digital data acquisition system. The data acquisition system allows us to gather vital data necessary in studying our engine's performance using the ASME 19.1 standardized turbine testing procedure. |
