 SWB Proudly Announces the birth of our newest turbine the SWB-100.  Actually producing 107 lb/ft thrust, this is one of the largest and most powerful turbines produced by SWB. This turbine is designed for professional large scale UAV applications.  The engine has been extensively tested in our test cell using industry standard turbine testing procedures. SWB - 45

 
 The SWB-35 which was originally developed for use in medium to large scale UAV applications has since been redesigned to produce 45 pounds of thrust as compared to the original 35 pounds of thrust.  The new SWB-45 contains a new highly efficient compressor and redesigned diffuser, along with a re-matched turbine to increase overall performance and efficiency.  The SWB-45 comes complete with electronic engine control package and starting equipment.

SWB - 35

 
 The SWB-35 micro-turbine was SWB’s first production engine. This turbine has proven to be an extremely reliable power plant and has flown repeatedly in such projects as LoFLYTE and NSCU/Navy  NAV-AIR F-18 among others.  This turbine has been extensively tested in our test cell using the ASME 19.1 industry standard turbine testing procedures.  With the AMA's new rule limiting model turbine thrust at 35 pounds, we are now making the SWB-35 available to modelers for large scale jets.  The SWB-35 comes complete with state of the art electronic engine control package and starting equipment.  Call today to place an order.

SWB - 25

 
 The SWB-25 is an aerospace grade micro-turbine which was designed to meet the need for a powerful engine required for smaller size applications.  Unlike other small aero-model turbines, this engine is specifically designed for professional UAV applications.  It is longer lasting, has superior bearings, and a much lower fuel consumption.  Originally designed for 30 pounds of thrust, the turbine has been de-rated to 25 pounds of thrust for extended service life. The original SWB-25 prototype was used repeatedly in the development of our electronic turbine control system. With over 3,000 runs on this turbine, the engine continues to run flawlessly.  The SWB-25 comes complete with electronic engine control package and starting equipment.
